New accounts increased 11.3%; average daily active accounts increased 8.4%. Seen accounts were essentially flat.

VeChain
Interstellar
Did the upgrade actually change the economics?
Interstellar changed VeChain's execution environment. PrismIQ is tracking whether that technical shift translates into measurable network demand — and whether demand grows fast enough to offset more efficient execution.
One upgrade. Two opposing forces.
Interstellar can expand demand while simultaneously reducing the VTHO required for equivalent execution. The investigation follows both sides.
Ethereum tooling works more naturally on VeChain. Interstellar brings VeChainThor closer to modern EVM standards, reducing friction when developers port Ethereum applications, tooling and smart contracts.
Potential effect → lower development friction and broader application compatibilityEvidence, preserved by checkpoint.
VIEWING · DAY 30 · 16 OCT 2026
Thirty days after Interstellar.
Overall network state across the selected evidence window, compared with pre-Interstellar activity.
Did Interstellar attract more activity?
Account activity strengthened. Contract activity moved the other way. The activation day is excluded because Interstellar activated part-way through 16 September.
The first 30 complete days do not show a single broad adoption inflection. New and active accounts increased, while new and active contracts declined. These are before/after observations, not causal proof.

Interstellar changed the execution environment — not the verdict.
The upgrade increased Ethereum/EVM compatibility and developer interoperability. It did not itself rewrite VeChain's token economics. Those changes arrived through the broader Renaissance and Hayabusa sequence.
The signal split.
Thirty complete days after activation, account activity strengthened while contract activity weakened. Economic burn increased, but attribution shows that the largest recurring spikes were dominated by workloads that predate Interstellar.
New contracts fell 31.2% and average daily active contracts fell 19.3% versus the preceding 30 complete days.
OBSERVED · 30-DAY WINDOW3.289M VTHO burned across the exact Day-30 window. veDelegate alone accounted for 21.98% of all burn.
CHAIN-DERIVED · ATTRIBUTEDDay 25 burned 378,379 VTHO; 329,322 VTHO was attributable to ToolChain3, a workload class that predates Interstellar.
VERIFIED · BLOCK-ATTRIBUTEDBurn is now measured.
Exact chain-derived execution data across the complete Day-30 checkpoint window.
Burn averaged ~109.6K VTHO per day across the first 30 days, equivalent to roughly 0.44% of estimated daily issuance. Burn is chain-measured; issuance is an estimate for economic context.
The biggest spikes had fingerprints.
Block-level attribution separates total burn from the workloads that actually produced it.
259,184 blocks reconciled to the exact Day-30 checkpoint.
Every exact seven-day spike was dominated by the same veDelegate Trigger.
VTHO burned across the four weekly spikes — 21.98% of all Day-30 burn.
of Day-25 burn was attributable to ToolChain3: 329,322 VTHO across 702,466 contract calls.
The burn is real. But the dominant anomalous workloads were pre-existing systems, so those events should not themselves be interpreted as new adoption created by Interstellar.
Participating VET increased materially.
From approximately 14.2B VET before Interstellar to 15.6B VET at Day 7 — approximately +1.4B / +9.9%.

The 61% VTHO move.
PrismIQ separated the price event from the network upgrade itself. Interstellar anticipation may have contributed sentiment, but the observed market structure better explains the magnitude.
What we know — and what we don't.
Observed facts, calculations and interpretations remain explicitly separated.
Adoption signals diverged.
Thirty complete days after activation, account activity strengthened while contract activity weakened. Burn was real, but concentrated legacy workloads explain the largest recurring spikes.
New accounts and average daily active accounts increased.
Contract creation and average active-contract activity declined.
Before/after movement and burn attribution do not establish that Interstellar caused the observed changes.

METHODOLOGY & PROVENANCE +
Investigation: PrismIQ. Presentation: NeuralWorks.
NeuralWorks visualises PrismIQ's investigation record and performs presentation-only calculations such as percentage deltas. It does not introduce new substantive conclusions outside the PrismIQ evidence record.
Checkpoint comparisons are snapshots and should not be interpreted as causal proof. Historical assessments remain preserved when later checkpoints are published.
